Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they set out the terms under which Blindsfitted4u Ltd makes its products available to you. When buying blinds and products from us you enter an agreement, which will come into force when you place the order and pay a deposit.
These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. If any of these Product Terms is held by any court of competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining Product Terms which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All our blinds and products are bespoke made to measure products and made to your precise requirements, measurements and material/fabric choice. Once manufactured the product is suitable only to you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned. It is therefore, very important that you are sure and happy with the blinds and products that you order from us. Blindsfittede4u Ltd cannot be held responsible if you later change your mind or dislike the colour or quality of the product that you have chosen from samples provided. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Due to manufacturing processes of fabrics and materials, each batch can vary slightly in shade. Due to these slight colour variations between product batches, we cannot guarantee shade matching on different orders. This also applies to samples that we show to you, these may be slightly different in texture or shade to the blinds or products eventual installed. Whilst every effort will be made by Blindsfitted4u Ltd to ensure that blinds or products installed match any sample shown or sent to you, any slight variations, change in colour, texture or pattern between the sample and the product installed will not entitle you to reject the goods or claim compensation for said variation.
When ordering products from the Blindsfitted4u Ltd we can only process your order once a deposit has been paid. The deposit amount (normally 50%) will be specified on our initial quotation or initial product invoice. The balance payment, in full, shall be due on the day of installation. The blinds or products shall remain the property of Blindsfitte4u Ltd until full and final payment has been made. Payment of the balance is taken as agreement that you have accepted and are happy with the products and installation.
When ordering your blinds or products, you are agreeing to a legal binding contract. According to Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made to measure goods, such as blinds are excluded from this legislation and the 7-day cancellation rights do not apply. We try to be as flexible as possible and it is possible to cancel your order and receive a full refund (less a £50 administration fee at our discretion) as long as products or parts of them have not gone into production or no costs have been incurred by us. In the event that your blinds have already gone into production we are unable to refund your money.
We have the right to cancel your order if:
- The blinds or products ordered have been discontinued.
- Installation parameters have changed.
- There is insufficient stock to make and deliver the goods ordered.
- A pricing error has occurred.
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply and install your blind or product, we will notify you as soon as possible but no discounts or compensation shall be offered under these unforeseen circumstances.
All specified delivery and installation times are estimated but are normally 2-4 weeks. Delivery times can be longer during busy times of the year, such as the lead up to the Christmas period. Some products that come from outside the UK may have longer lead times. We will do our best to delivery and install within the quoted period but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery and installation or from delay arising from circumstances beyond our control.
